Liminal Sense

Helping others cross digital boundaries, so they can do more of what they love, and inspire others through games.

Creativity

Our obstacles and limitations provide opportunities for our creativity to flourish brilliantly. Sometimes all we need is a new perspective and understanding to do what’s never been done before.

When we have systemic problems, we need systemic solutions.
To find these solutions, it’s helpful to have a guide and friend who’s been there before to help identify, clarify, and navigate a path forward.

My Studio Doesn’t See My Vision—Why?

In game development, we can get lost in our own department bubbles, where information silos form, exclusion separates us, breeding distrust, breaking our communication lines, and preventing genuine collaboration. Before you know it, the finger pointing begins and progress stops. We lose the vision and goal we’re working towards and the result is a fuzzy blur.

Ideas, information, and data all communicate with a flow in a system. Systems are frequently designed with the technical in mind, but forget the humans that use them. Yes, they account for them as ‘Users’ but not always as actual people.

Empathic Workflow Systems

I design Empathic Systems that are focused on the people who use them. This means I want to help real people with real problems, by providing real solutions.

These systems focus on understanding the individual, the team, the leaders, and the diversity of creative minds; from visual artists and animators, to coders and writers. Each workflow and mindset is different, so different approaches are needed.

Your game is unique and deserves a unique system—we can build that system together and pave a road to your game’s release that all your developers can walk on with ease.
